Understanding Revelation Pets Service Modules - Boarding, Daycare, Appointments and Training

Overview: What are we talking about?

Revelation Pets has four modules to help manage your business - boarding, daycare, appointments, and training. This article will provide a high-level review of each module, and link other helpful knowledge base articles per module to expand on module specific functionality.

Revelation Pets Subscription Plans and Pricing

Revelation Pets (Rev Pets for short) has two subscription plans available, Gold and Silver. The only difference between our Gold Plan and our Silver Plan is the daycare module. So if your business offers daycare (or a variation of daycare like full-day training), you will need to subscribe to our Gold Plan.

Overview of the Boarding Module 

If your business provides overnight care, you are likely booking that service with the boarding module (this includes Board & Train programs). The boarding module can be configured to charge by day or by night. Additional charges or discounts can be managed with Special Rates and/or Other Charges & Discounts. Please note: If you do not need the boarding module, you can hide it in your application by setting your run count to 0 under Account Settings » Your Runs.

Please note: With present-day functionality, Rev Pets does not support credit packs for the boarding module (credit pack functionality is only available for the daycare module). If your business offers boarding credits, please reach out to our Support Team (support@revelationpets.com) for assistance with a possible workaround solution. 

Overview of the Daycare Module 

If your business provides services like daycare (full or 1/2 day) or day training, you are likely booking that service with the daycare module. Day training differs from a standard appointment, because usually the pet is receiving training while also receiving care for the day, as oppose to (for example) a 1 hour training appointment/session. Additional charges or discounts can be managed with Special Rates (needed if you offer a 1/2 day daycare rate) and/or Other Charges & Discounts.   • *If you are a free roaming daycare facility, think of "runs" as your capacity tool. The number of pets you can safely have on-site would be the number of runs (or spaces) you would need to configure in Rev Pets.

Overview of the Appointments Module 

If your business provides timed services that require a specialist/staff member, you are likely booking that services with the appointment module. A variety of services could be considered an appointment, such as - grooming, 1:1 training, walks, drop-ins, and transportation. Appointments be used in conjunction with the boarding and daycare modules, or it can be used as a standalone module. Additional charges or discounts can be managed with Special Rates and/or Other Charges & Discounts.

Please Note: If you want to use Rev Pets for appointments only, you can hide the boarding module by setting your run count to 0 under Account Settings » Your Runs. 

Please Note: If you do not need the appointment module, delete all the default appointments under the appointment tab (Account Settings » Services & Costs » Appointments) and this module will no longer appear.

Overview of the Training Module
