As pet care business owners, ensuring your guests are as comfy as possible, most businesses encourage familiar things (bedding, toys etc.) to accompany pets when they are away from home. This article will review managing pet(s) belongings within Revelation Pets to ensure those special items are returned at the end of the stay.

How to Enable the Belongings Feature
The pet(s) belongings functionality is an opt-in feature and must be enabled in the application.
Navigate to Account Settings » Your Runs
You have the option to enable the pet(s) belongings feature for daycare, boarding, or both services by ticking the appropriate boxes.
Once enabled, you will see a new icon appear within the application that displays as a suitcase.
By default the pet(s) belongings icon will display as grey.
How to Add Pet(s) Belongings to a Booking
Once the pet(s) belongings feature is enabled for daycare, boarding, or both services, you can add pet(s) belongings to a booking.
Open the expanded view of the booking from either a home page widget or a report. In the top display of the expanded booking view, you will see the pet(s) belongings icon.
Click the pet(s) belongings icon to add items to the booking, then click Save Belongings.
When pet(s) belongings are added to a booking, the pet belongings icon will display in green in the expanded view of the booking, on the home page widgets, on reports, and on the booking calendar.
How to View What Pet(s) Belongings Have Been Added to a Booking
Similar to the Pet Details icon and the Behavioral Notes icon (learn more about those icons HERE), after pet(s) belongings are added to a booking you can hover over (or tap on a mobile device) the pet(s) belongings icon to see what items have been noted for the booking.
If updates or edits to the pet(s) belongings need to made, simply re-open the expanded view of the booking, click on the pet(s) belongings icon, edit, and re-save.
How to Add Pet(s) Belongings to the Boarding/Kennel Card
Pet(s) belongings can also be added to the newest version of the boarding/kennel card (learn more about managing boarding/kennel cards HERE).
Navigate to Account Settings » Translations » Boarding Card Translation » tick the box next to "Belongings" » click Save.
Please note:
1) The pet(s) belongings icon is associated to the booking. Each booking will require reentry of items brought to the facility.
2) The pet(s) belongings icon is associated to the pet parent. So, if a booking has multiple siblings, you will want to note all items for all pets.
3) If you hover over or tap a greyed out pet(s) belongings icon (i.e. if no belongings have been added to the booking) nothing with display.
