Reporting Features
All reports (except for Rev Pets Payments specific reporting) can be launched from the Reports tab.
1. Filtering: Reports with dropdown bubbles including, Services, Status, and Pet Type, at the top right-hand corner of the launched report have filtering capabilities. The tick boxes within each dropdown can be used to spotlight specific aspects of the report. Once you have selected or de-selected the tick boxes of interest, you can filter the report by clicking "Go".
2. Adding and Removing Columns: Reports displaying a "Columns" dropdown allow default displayed columns to be updated. Once you have selected or de-selected the tick boxes of interest, you can add or remove columns by clicking "Go".
3. Saving a template: Reports displaying a "Saved" dropdown allow for a template of any reporting edits you have made to be saved as a template for quick reloading of reporting details.
4. Printing or exporting reported information: Reports displaying a "Tools" dropdown allow for the reported information to be printed or exported. Depending on the report, additional selections may also be present in the Tools dropdown.
5. Sorting reported information: Reports displaying column headers in light blue have sorting capabilities. You can click on these sortable headers to reorganize the reported information to display as ascending or descending.
Arrivals Report
- Default date range - Today's date
- Can be filtered? - Yes
- Columns can be added or removed? - Yes
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - Yes
Pro tips for the arrivals report:
1) Pets can be checked in directly from the arrivals report.
2) If you are a facility that uses the Activity Page (more on the Activity Page feature HERE), then you can add the "Progress" column to the arrivals report to quickly update pet parents.
Departures Report
- Default date range - Today's date
- Can be filtered? - Yes
- Columns can be added or removed? - Yes
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - Yes
Pro tips for the departures report:
1) Pet's can be checked out directly from the departures report.
2) If you are a facility that uses the Activity Page (more on the Activity Page feature HERE), then you can add the "Progress" column to the departures report to quickly update pet parents.
Bookings Report
- Default date range - One week, the end date is today's date
- Can be filtered? - Yes
- Columns can be added or removed? - Yes
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - Yes
Pro tips for the bookings report:
1) You can add pet's breed information as a displayed column.
2) Cancellation reasons and notes display by default.
Occupancy Report
- Default date range - Today's date
- Can be filtered? - Yes
- Columns can be added or removed? - Yes
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes

Appointments Report
- Default date range - One week, the end date is today's date

Pro tips for the appointments report:
1) The appointments report can be filtered by "Who" (i.e. by Specialist).
2) If you are a facility that uses the Activity Page (more on the Activity Page feature HERE), then you can add the "Progress" column to the appointments report to quickly update pet parents.
Training Report
- Default date range - One week, the end date is today's date
- Can be filtered? - Yes
- Columns can be added or removed? - Yes
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - Yes

1) You can mark attendance directly from the training report.

Deposits Report
- Default date range - The last 6 months of deposit requests
- Can be filtered? - Yes
- Columns can be added or removed? - No
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - Yes

Pro tip for the deposits report:
1) With our payments integration (Rev Pets Payments), you can send a request for a deposit payment directly from the deposits report.
Outstanding Payments Report
- Default date range - The current calendar year YTD
- Can be filtered? - Yes
- Columns can be added or removed? - Yes
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - Yes
Pro tips for the outstanding payments report:
1) You can use the checkbox column to select multiple bookings, from multiple pet parents and mark those bookings as paid (using non-integrated payment types).
2) Similar to the functionality noted above, you can run an outstanding payments report for a specific pet parent. Navigate to the pet parent's profile » click the "Outstanding" line.
When you launch an outstanding payments report for a specific pet parent, you can select multiple bookings and mark those bookings as paid using integrated payment types (more on Rev Pets Payments HERE) as well as non-integrated payment types.
Sales Report
- Default date range - The last month, the end date is today's date
- Can be filtered? - No
- Columns can be added or removed? - No
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - No
*Please note: The Sales Report is a tally of booking totals by booking creation date (i.e. when the sale was made). You can set up a time range and the report will reflect the amount of every booking created within that time frame regardless of the paid status. The Payment Report is a list of all payments made against any booking in the Payment section of the booking.
Pro tip for the sales report:
1) By clicking the "Chart" button, you can see how your sales compare to last year's sales.
Payment Report
- Default date range - The current month
- Can be filtered? - No
- Columns can be added or removed? - No
- Can be printed or exported? - Yes
- Can be sorted? - No
*Please note: The Sales Report is a tally of booking totals by booking creation date (i.e. when the sale was made). 1) You can use the provided tick boxes to help manage food and medication distribution throughout the day.
Waiting List Report
- Default date range - The next 6 months, the start date is today's date
- Can be filtered? - No
- Columns can be added or removed? - No
- Can be printed or exported? - No
- Can be sorted? - Yes (by arrival, departure, or created date)
*Please note: If you do not have availability (or would like to save a booking as a draft), you can click the blue "Add to Waiting List" button in the bottom left corner of the detailed view of a booking.
Once a booking is placed on the waiting list, you will see an alert on the Home Page if a run/space becomes available over the dates of the booking.
There is also an option to have the waiting list functionality on the Online Booker. When enabled your pet parents to be able to add their booking requests to your waiting list if you do not have availability. If pet parents select to add their booking request to your waiting list, you will receive an email informing you a new booking has been added to the waiting list.
Pro tip for the waiting list report:
1) Enable the Pet Details Icon to have quick access to essential pet details when managing wait list requests. Navigate to Account Settings » Pet Types » tick the box next to "Display Pet Details icon for all pet types"
2) Click on a booking from the waiting list to view additional details like pet parent notes, pet notes and missing booking details.
