Overview: What are we talking about?
Revelation Pets offers 1-way and 2-way SMS to benefit your facility and your customer base! 1-way texting (available in all countries) and 2-way texting (currently available in United States, United Kingdom, and Canada) is a fantastic add-on functionality to increase efficient communication to your customers. 1-way texting is perfect for an automatic texted reminder of an upcoming service, and 2-way texting allows for automatic reminders as well as follow-up conversations with your customer if needed.

What is the cost of the SMS texting add-on?
1-way SMS is available in all countries and costs $15 or £15 per month. This is the most popular choice to reduce the number of no-shows.
We also offer 2-way SMS packages for customers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Please see the banded price plans below:
US and Canada:
$20/month for 500 messages
$30/month for 1,000 messages
$40/month for 2,000 messages
$50/month for 4,000 messages
£20/month for 100 messages
£30/month for 300 messages
£40/month for 500 messages
£70 month for 1000 messages
Please Note: Un-used text messages do not roll over into the following month's message count.
How do I sign up for texting?
Go to Account Settings » Customer Communication » SMS / Text Message Reminder » select "Add 2-way SMS" or "Add 1-way SMS."
1) Texting is only available to subscribers and not eligible for testing during the free trial.
2) Texting is an additional recurring monthly charge.
3) 2-way texting is only currently available to customers in the US, UK, and Canada.
How does texting work?
In addition to an automated email reminder that you can enable, the 1-way texting package (available in all countries) is a great way to notify your customer of an upcoming booking. From Account Settings » Customer Communication » SMS / Text Message Reminder, check the box to "Enable Text Message Reminders" and customize the content of the reminder message as needed. Revelation Pets will then automatically send a text message reminder the day before a booking to any customer that has a mobile number noted on their profile.
In addition to the automated reminder texts noted above for the 1-way texting package, 2-way texting allows you to have a conversational exchange with your customer from within Revelation Pets! This feature is an awesome in-app way to quickly answer customer questions or follow-up with important booking information.
*2-way texting is only currently available in the US, UK, and Canada.
When you subscribe to 2-way texting, an additional bell icon will appear in the upper right-hand corner of your application. This is where your text messages will generate within Revelation Pets.
You will be able to have an exchange with your customer when clicking this icon. You will also be able to see any other messages across owners through your app.
You can send a text directly from the detailed view of a booking or from the customer's profile.
You can cancel this add-on feature at any time by navigating to Account Settings » Your Account » Your Subscription. If you have any additional questions regarding this feature, please reach out to our Support Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
