Overview: What are we talking about?
Revelation Pets allows you to set up a requirement for advanced notice that applies when customers submit an online booking request. This serves as a valuable tool to prevent booking requests from being submitted after a specific cutoff time and also enables you to effectively communicate the reason for blocking such requests to pet parents.
How to: Set up Advance Requirements
You can limit the ability to submit last minute bookings by setting the hours notice required for each module. To do this, navigate to Account Settings > Online Bookings.
When customers attempt to submit a booking for review that does not meet the advance notice requirements, they will encounter a customizable warning message. The example below shows where a 4-hour notice requirement has been configured for Daycare bookings. If a customer attempts to submit a booking that falls below this 4-hour notice period, they will encounter a warning message, preventing the submission.
Customizing the Advance Notice Message
This message is customizable when navigating to Account Settings > Online Bookings > Customise the text on the online booker widget. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view/edit the translation.
Once you have customized the Online Booker Advance Notice message, your customers will see this message when applicable based on which reservation type they have selected.
