Heads Up: Your Card Reader Is Being Updated

If you use a card reader with Rev Pets Payments, here's a heads up on a change that's coming from Stripe, our payments partner.

What's happening

Stripe is discontinuing sales of the BBPOS WisePOS e — the card reader most Rev Pets customers currently order — in September 2026. Stripe has selected the Stripe Reader S700 as its replacement, and we're working on bringing S700 support into Rev Pets so you can continue ordering new readers without interruption.

What this means for you

• If you already have a WisePOS e, you don't need to do anything. Your existing reader will keep working as usual — this change only affects new reader orders going forward.
• If you're planning to order a new card reader, we'll be updating the ordering options to offer the S700 in place of the WisePOS e.
